DANA POINT HARBOR – The migration season for the magnificent Gray Whales officially has begun!
Whales travel along the Laguna Coast and pass by Dana Point Harbor year round, but Gray Whales only migrate now through April. Dana Wharf offers several daily adventures to view and learn about the massive creatures as they migrate south toward the warm waters of Mexico.
View a variety of whales and marine mammals aboard comfortable boats with experienced, knowledgeable captains who narrate and inform on all sightings. Dana Harbor “Whale Watching Adventures” provides the chance to see these beautiful creatures as well as other whales species, large pods of dolphin, sea lions, birds and other exciting marine life. Boat Captains will educate you on the abundant ocean life on our coast. Trips are 2 hours long, plenty of time to discover the world that lies beneath! And sightings are guaranteed – If you don’t see A GOOD SHOWING of whales or dolphin, you will get your ticket back and are invited to come out again! These “whale checks” never expire.
The Laguna Coast is known as a landmark for whale sightings, and Dana Wharf provides an unforgettable experience to passengers for viewing Gray Whales during their natural migration.
