Laguna Beach – Hospitality Night Festivities – The Holiday’s are officially here in Laguna Village!! Make sure to mark your calendars and join in for a very fun filled community event – Laguna’s Hospitality Night!
Friday, December 5, 2014 – 5pm – 9pm
Welcome friends and family ~ there is something fun for everyone at Laguna’s annual celebration!! Beginning at 5:00pm – the Bell Choir entertains with a Community Sing-along at the Presbyterian Church (415 Forest Ave),
Santa arrives at City Hall at 6pm with his eight tiny “rain-dogs” – all decked out with jingle bells! There will be an outdoor Ice skating rink, compliments of U.S. Bank and Broadway by Amar Santana restaurant. The neighboring parking lot on Glenneyre Street will be transformed into an enchanting ice rink for everyone to enjoy. Skate rental and use of the rink are free of charge – bring your children and partner for this exciting event!
The whole village comes alive during this magical evening, with music (Main Stage on Forest Avenue & Glenneyre Street) along with dancing and (faux) snow throughout the downtown area. The Chamber of Commerce & South Coast Movie Theater invites all to enjoy the free movie “It’s a Wonderful Life” at the village theater at 9:15pm (wherein an angel is sent to earth to make George Bailey’s (James Stewart) Christmas wishes come true!)
Shops and Galleries will be serving holiday refreshments, cider and hot chocolate. There will be roaming Christmas Caroler’s, Tamales and treats will be available at Presbyterian Church and Local radio station KX/93.5 FM will broadcast live. All downtown restaurants will be open during the event.
The Laguna Beach “Village” area will be closed off to foot traffic only for this event (street closures begin at 3:30pm), however, the festive Laguna Beach Free Trolley will be operating from 5pm – 10pm from downtown, North and South Laguna and Free public parking will be available at the City’s Forest/Laguna Canyon, Lumberyard and Susi Q Center parking lots.
